Value Creation Score

Also known as: VCS

A planned composite measure of a digital property across five dimensions: discovery, authority, commercial intent, AI visibility, and monetization. It does not exist yet.

The Value Creation Score is the intended single comparable measure of a digital property, built from five dimension scores rather than replacing them: discovery, authority, commercial intent, AI visibility, and monetization.

As of September 2026 it is a stated intention and nothing more. No score has been calculated, no weighting has been fixed, and no methodology has been published, because the inputs are not yet measured consistently enough across properties to support one.

The reason this term has a definition before it has a number is that stating the conditions in advance is what makes the eventual score checkable. See the full page for the five conditions that have to be met first. If you find a score being quoted anywhere, it did not come from here.
