Revenue per Thousand Visits
Blunt on purpose. Its value is in comparing properties in the same subject, and in catching the case where traffic grows and this number falls.
- Measures
- Total revenue per thousand human sessions, trended, and split by section where the data supports it.
- Data Source
- Revenue records joined against session counts with bot traffic classified out.
- Indicates
- How efficiently attention is being converted, independent of scale.
- What Moves It
- Intent profile more than conversion optimization. Better-matched traffic moves this further than a better button.
- Does Not Prove
- That a higher number is better in isolation. A tiny high-intent audience can produce an excellent figure and a poor business.
- Status
- Not measured on this property. No revenue, so the number is zero and means nothing.
Bot traffic has to be classified out before this is calculated, or a crawl surge will appear as a monetization collapse. On a property with heavy AI crawler interest and modest human traffic, that distinction is not a rounding error.
