Revenue Concentration
A risk measure that a buyer will price in whether or not the seller brings it up.
- Measures
- Share of revenue from the largest single source, and the number of sources carrying meaningful revenue.
- Data Source
- The property's own revenue records.
- Indicates
- How exposed the earnings are to one decision made by somebody else.
- What Moves It
- A second real revenue route. Not a second trivial one added for the chart.
- Does Not Prove
- Stability. Two sources that fail for the same reason are one source with extra steps.
- Status
- Not applicable on this property yet. It earns nothing, which is a concentration of zero rather than a good score.
The same logic applies to traffic sources, and the two often correlate: one traffic source feeding one monetization route is a single point of failure wearing two hats.
