Lead Close Rate
The number that turns a lead count into a value, and the number almost nobody has, because leads get handed over and nothing comes back.
- Measures
- Closed deals as a share of leads produced, split by landing page and query where possible.
- Data Source
- The receiving business. Not available from any web analytics tool.
- Indicates
- What a lead from this property is actually worth.
- What Moves It
- Better intent match upstream, and the receiving side having capacity to follow up.
- Does Not Prove
- Causation for any individual deal. Attribution stops at the last click and the last click is often not the page that did the work.
- Status
- Not measured on this property, and honestly flagged as such. There are no leads yet and no business receiving them.
This signal is in the inventory precisely because it is missing. A score that silently substituted a default close rate here would be inventing the most important input in the dimension.
