Conversion Route Completeness
Intent-carrying traffic frequently lands on pages built by one person while the conversion route was built by another, and nobody compared the two.
- Measures
- For each page receiving intent-carrying traffic, whether a working conversion route is present and reachable without hunting.
- Data Source
- Site inspection joined against the query data showing which pages carry intent.
- Indicates
- Whether the property can capture the value it is already attracting.
- What Moves It
- Putting the route where the intent lands, rather than only on a contact page somebody has to go looking for.
- Does Not Prove
- Conversion. A reachable route that nobody uses is a different problem, and a more informative one.
- Status
- Measured by inspection. Cheap, and it finds real gaps almost every time.
Related: a route that collects no source data is only half a route. A lead arriving without the query and page attached cannot be attributed, scored, or counted, which makes the rest of this dimension guesswork.
