Entity Declaration Completeness
Structure does not create reputation, but the absence of it guarantees a system has to guess, and systems guess badly about small properties.
- Measures
- Schema coverage across page types, presence and validity of federation endpoints, defined term sets, and declared relationships between records.
- Data Source
- The property's own rendered output and published endpoints.
- Indicates
- How legible the property is: how much a system has to infer versus how much it is told.
- What Moves It
- Building structure in from the first page. Retrofitting it onto a large site is considerably more work.
- Does Not Prove
- That anything will use the declarations, or that being legible produces citations. It removes ambiguity, nothing more.
- Status
- Measured directly. It is the one authority-adjacent signal fully inside the owner's control.
The trap here is depth that impresses at a glance and falls apart on inspection. A four hundred term glossary where most entries are one line of filler is not a strong declaration. It converts the property's best argument into evidence against it.
